Job description

Job brief:

We are looking for a results-driven B2C (business to consumer) sales consultant to join our inbound sales team to actively monetize a high volume of inbound web leads and qualified orders for our connectivity products and services. To seek new opportunities in tendering for public and private sector. And close sales leads from our field sales people.

You must be comfortable handling dozens of leads per day, qualifying prospects and closing sales via phone, email and messaging. You must be able to understand the customer’s requirements in a short time and present solutions that meet their needs. Ultimately, you will help build certainty throughout the sales and order process and build on our company’s reputation for offering outstanding service.

Responsibilities include:

  • Learn the products and services offered
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Handling high volumes of phone calls, mails and messaging from customers
  • Ensure high lead/order conversion rates through building pipeline, inbound lead follow up and closing deals
  • Run our social media platforms and drive sales of all products
  • Handle the processing of all orders with accuracy and timeliness
  • Build strong client relationships, through regular pro-active communication
  • File tender documents
  • Ensure prompt and accurate answers to clients’ queries
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales quotas
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams
  • Update internal CRM database supplier databases with account and service information
  • Use SAGE accounting "CRM" to generate invoices, receipts and quotes to customers.
  • Ensure adherence to laws and policies
  • Contact clients to obtain missing information or answer queries
  • Liaise with the Logistics department to ensure timely deliveries
  • Maintain and update sales and customer records
  • Develop monthly sales reports
  • Communicate important feedback from customers internally
  • Ensure sales targets are met and report any deviations
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and features
  • Assist with front desk sales (Internet Café)

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Sales administrator or Sales support agent ( If you have no experience a task will be given to prove your abilities)
  • Hands on experience with CRM software and MS Office (MS Excel/Word/PowerPoint/ Humble till/ Sage Accounting)
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • A team player with high level of dedication
  • Ability to work under strict deadlines and [pressure
  • Certification in Marketing, Sales or relevant field is a plus

Job Types: Full-time, Internship, Contract, Learnership
Contract length: 24 months

Salary: From R3,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Estcourt, KwaZulu-Natal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
