What will you receive by working at Neon Bear?
- Salary range is between £25,000 and £35,000, based on full-time position and experience
- 20 days holiday, plus bank holidays, as a minimum. The office is closed at Christmas until the New Year which is extra days off.

What do we need you, the next team member of Neon Bear, to be? You will:
- Have at least 2 years accountancy practice experience and minimum AAT qualified.
- Take a balance sheet approach to preparing accounts
- Be able to advise business owner-managers in basic tax planning
- Be confident in looking after clients. You’ll know when to pick up the phone, offer a zoom or just to say Hi.
- Love to educate your clients on the best tax, accounting or bookkeeping practices, systems or processes, for their business
- Like the idea of getting involved with our growing business, looking for opportunities to increase services whilst always keeping the clients best interest in mind.
- You LOVE to be busy and can work at a fast pace, across multiple clients and requests.
- Be a Xero and Dext expert, and enjoy adopting new tech.

The Role
· Completing regular bookkeeping for a variety of clients
· Maintain sales and purchase day books
· Record bank transactions and carry out bank reconciliations
· Reconcile balance sheet entries
· Perform data entry with meticulous attention to detail.
· Liaise with clients, external suppliers and customers as required
· Responding to client queries.
· Liaising with clients and ensuring they hit agreed timeframes. Not being afraid to push and chase clients
· Daily usage of financial processes, enhancing and updating where needed.
· Preparation of VAT returns
· Complete year end bookkeeping reviews to assist with our annual accounts process
