We are a 30 year-old produce wholesale business currently seeking a CDL Class B Delivery Route Driver to join our team. The driver will deliver palletized freight to customers within a 250-mile radius of Atlanta and return home every night. As the direct contact with our customers on a daily basis, we look for a positive demeanor and someone willing to go the extra step to solve problems or work with customers to give them the best experience possible.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive at our dock by 4 am ready to leave out five days a week.
- Deliver produce to a host of different customers on an established route five days a week including Saturday
- Collect on unpaid orders and shipments
- Inspect and monitor delivery vehicle
- Maintain accurate inventory of packages and materials
Qualifications:
- CDL Class A license with at least three years of experience
- Experience in delivery driving, customer service, or other related fields
- Clean driving record
- Ability to handle physical workload and lift up to 50lbs
- Deadline-oriented
- Ability to pass a drug test and a background check
