Program Analyst [United States]


 

Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. (UTRS) is currently seeking a Program Analyst to join our team! The successful candidate will support a Navy funded titanium research program by generating reports, documentation, and all other reporting requirements. Most of the Program Analyst work can be performed remotely with some travel, for example, to Butte, MT where the titanium research will be conducted. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team representing a novel titanium production process and to support efforts associated with this work. Position requirements are summarized below.


What will you be doing?


Duties include:

  • Coordinate with partners of UTRS to establish all reporting documentation needed for research programs.
  • Prepare, assemble, and deliver the reporting documentation in a timely manner.
  • Completed documentation must be accurate and thorough with accurate records.
  • Develop processes for collecting data and inputs from various technical leads for reports.
  • Interact with Government and Contracts personnel.
  • Provide insight for and assist in generation of technical documents such as research reports, proposals, and patents.
  • Support grant and proposal efforts.
  • Support other tasks, general to lab operations, as needed.
  • Report activities both written and orally.

What skills will the ideal candidate have to be successful?


This position will require the following skillsets and experience:

  • Experienced in Government contract reporting.
  • Excellent communication and technical writing skills.
  • Must be able to understand and create documents (may be highly technical in nature) used in program reporting that may be published in professional journals or as patents.
  • Hands-on experience with MS Office and related communications tools.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of the Butte, MT Titanium Process.
  • Must be willing to follow laboratory procedures and safety protocol.
  • Proficient at working remotely and must have the ability to travel as needed (approximately quarterly).
  • Familiarity with chemical analytical testing and reporting practices is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and as a constructive team member.
  • Adaptable to new situations, equipment, and work environments.
  • Enthusiasm and curiosity for science.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
