Production Operative [United Kingdom]


 
We are currently recruiting for experienced production Operators to join our well established team in Skelmersdale on a initial 2 year contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast paced, busy working environment.

The ideal candidate must have good communication skills, prove to be reliable and be willing to learn and progression is available for the right candidate.

This is a manual role and the ideal candidate will be required to be their feet for the majority of your shift.

Rate of pay is £11.37 per hour

Shift Patterns - Monday to Friday on rotating shifts, mornings and afternoons.

The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As a Production line operator, you will make an impact by:
  • Health and Safety awareness will be amongst your main priorities, and Health and Safety guidelines should be actively adhered to and promoted
  • Works with moderate work direction
  • Ability to follow SOP's and training processes
  • Works from written or verbal instructions and general operating procedures.
  • You will have control over product Quality.
  • Having good mechanical aptitude and skills
  • Basic data entry and computer proficiency preferred

To set you up for success in this role from day one, the client requires (at a minimum) the following.
  • Ability to work effectively with little supervision.
  • Ability to work on own initiative supported by all relevant production documentation.
  • Effective team player.
  • Ability to prioritise and organise tasks.
  • Must be able to demonstrate "good working habits".
