Our client, a global leader in the manufacturing industry has an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Technician to join their team on an initial 12 month contract based in Dublin.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and fix mechanical and electrical issues in equipment using defined problem-solving methods.
- Resolve process and control system problems in high-speed packing equipment.
- Monitor machine performance, respond quickly to unplanned breakdowns.
- Keep stakeholders informed during maintenance downtime.
- Read electrical schematics, assist in problem-solving.
- Ensure timely preventative maintenance and report observations.
- Input and analyse downtime data, develop action plans.
- Record process parameters, collaborate on defining new settings.
- Support continuous improvement projects for equipment reliability.
- Maintain engineering standards, prioritise safety.
- Assist in commissioning new equipment.
- Uphold safety, quality compliance, continuous improvement.
- Lead and assist in planning and performing maintenance tasks.

Requirements
- Level 6 QQI or equivalent in mechanical senior trades
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar position working in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge and experience of making machine adjustments
