  • 0.7 FTE ( 56 hours per fortnight)
If you are a Registered Nurse, Paramedic or an Allied Health Professional who would like to learn more about complex wound management/ managing assessing patients post diving accidents this could be the role for you.
Do you have knowledge of diving and or have completed our hyperbaric training course?
Hyperbaric Therapy is a specialty involved in the care of patients receiving hyperbaric oxygen therapy. We treat a variety of acute and elective patients inside a chamber under pressure with a 100% oxygen via a special mask and line similar to divers .
Elective patients have a minimum of 6 weeks treatment and each treatment lasts aprox 2hours 15 mins. We work closely with other health care providers and have a holistic approach to the patient care. Acute patients such as divers with the “bends” have on average 2- 3 treatments depending on the improvement with symptoms.

What we can offer you:
  • On call shifts Monday to Friday 1600-0800 and Saturday – Sunday on call 24hrs
  • The ability to work 0800-1200 or 1300-1630 ( Monday to Friday )
