Business Support Officer [Australia]

Due to continued growth in our Flood Recovery (Roads and Bridges) team, this is an exciting new role supporting the Flood Recovery team in the delivery of key recovery projects. This position is like no other, operational business support administration activities coupled with supporting new processes and procedures across the department, we are looking for someone who can successfully juggle multiple balls at once, who is inspired by continuous improvement.

The role is full time (35 hours a week) fixed term position until 30 June 2026, however, we are open to considering part time hours for the right person. You'll be working alongside a team that is diverse and evolving, who are supportive, outcome-focused and have fun at the same time, they are primarily based at our Flood Recovery Office in South Lismore.

Note: Location subject to change as Council prepares to relocate during 2023, to new premises near Nimbin.

  • Experience in managing workloads to comply with tight deadlines in a high-pressure work environment with a high volume of work

Salary starts from $1,211.50 a week + superannuation.

The position is fixed term until 30 June 2026.
