Job Description
- Primarily responsible for managing the company’s overall operations, inbound logistics, outbound logistics, last-mile logistics, and general logistics strategy through implementation of systems and policies, and effective logistics vendor management.
- Conduct capacity planning initiatives to ensure the company is well prepared to manage the growth of inventory and fulfillment of orders
- Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers to identify and maintain resources needed to establish and provide an effective logistics and fulfillment networks.
- Devise performance metrics for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of factors affecting operations and supply chain efficiency
- Develop and maintain detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company, at sites, and in the factory; ensure that all necessary processes and operations setups are in place so that stock counts are accurate and any variances are fully investigated.
- Analyze current inventories and procedures; recommend improvements to increase efficiency of supply chain and profitability for the company.
Job Requirements
- A degree in business operations & supply chain management, engineering or equivalent courses is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with vendors, suppliers, shippers, and customers.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and solve problems quickly
- Organized and has keen attention to detail
