This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract position
This position aims to ensure a smooth, timely and efficient flow of the production process, optimal utilization planning and quality and timely delivery of customer orders.
This role is a holds key relationships sales and production as well as technology and materials management/purchasing departments.
The successful candidate will control and coordinates the production orders in compliance with the specified deadlines and production capacities and taking into account the availability of materials. This role will be responsible for coordinating all sales orders within the entire group of companies, ensuring trouble-free processing and will be the contact person for sales in all questions relating to the order.
Other tasks also include the continuous optimization of production planning, manufacturing and work processes, as well as the monitoring and booking of manual stock withdrawals.
The Opportunity
- Checking the sales orders for plausibility (including technical execution) and scheduling
- Comparing the capacity planning with the actual utilization
- Order control, planning, coordination and allocation of delivery dates and their tracking
- Checking and coordination of missing parts
- Testing and initiation of in-house production of components in cooperation with purchasing and the workshop (make-or-buy decision) taking into account time and cost requirements
- Supporting production management in monitoring operational processes (production and utilization planning)
- Other ad-hoc administrative tasks
Experience Requirements
- Completed technician training or engineering training in the fields of measurement and control technology or electrical engineering or mechatronics
- Experience working in an Order Control/Production planning position
- Distinct sales-oriented thinking
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
