As a Qualcomm ASIC Engineer, you will define, model, design (digital and/or analog), optimize, verify, validate, implement, and document IP (block/SoC) development for a variety of high performance, high quality, low power world class products. Qualcomm Engineers collaborate with cross-functional groups to determine product execution path.
【Job Overview】
Work with foundry partners to bring up RFA technologies for production
Define device targets, run DOEs & analyze results to deliver conclusions
Analyze product & PCM data to optimize process for performance/yield
Perform device statistical data analysis and design test structures for in-depth RFA device characterization
Monitor baseline process, oversee manufacturing ramp, highlight any issues & address day to day issues in timely manner.
Drive technology qualification and work with cross-functional team including Quality, Reliability, Product Testing teams.
【Minimum Qualifications】
>5 years of experiences in developing advanced CMOS FEOL/MOL/BEOL process/device, particularly FinFET nodes
Good understanding of semiconductor device physics & RF/Analog FoM
Strong data analysis skills including efficiency in using the data analysis tools.
Familiarity with DC device characterization & RF/S-param test setup
【Preferred Qualifications】
Good communication skill and good team work
Familiarity with Spice model tool and Layout tools such as Cadence Virtuoso/Calibre
Test structure layout/design for DC/AC/RF
Spice device simulation and providing model targets
Good circuit simulation and benchmarking skills
Familiarity with FEOL/BEOL reliability degradation models
【Education Requirements】
MS degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering
Ph.D degree preferred
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 4+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field and 3+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Science, Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of ASIC design, verification, validation, integration, or related work experience.
