Motor Vehicle Technician [South Africa]

 

A well-established automotive brand is looking for a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician to join their Workshop.

Requirements:

• Motor Mechanic Trade Test Certificate with a minimum of 2 years working experience after qualifying.
• Valid Driver's License
• Clear criminal record
• Ability to work well under pressure and be target driven
• Brand experience such as BMW, Mini, Land Rover, Audi Mercedes-Benz or Jeep.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and repairs on customer vehicles
• Identify problems with vehicles using the diagnostic equipment
• Explain automotive repairs and issues and provide great customer service
• Test the functionality of parts and systems
• Perform basic auto care and maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid level checks, and tire rotation
• Repair and replace brake pads, wheel bearings, sensors and other parts
• Perform routine maintenance and general mechanic work on vehicles
• Keep working area clean, organised and tidy

Salary: Negotiable Salary package
