For our Wolters Kluwer Financial Services office in Vienna, we are currently looking for an agile Product Software Engineer for an internship.
Your responsibilities
  • Evaluate, test and develop new software applications according to requirements around regulatory reporting for banks
  • Perform follow-up on validation test for the developed software
  • Maintain/adapt SW documentation and artefacts
  • Focus on quality, security, and performance
  • Support the product development team to maximize quality for customer experience and be an active part in Agile software development within an international team
  • Improve existing test and development tools for integration and regression tests
  • Assist for improving development and test environment based on MS Hyper-V
Qualifications and Skillset
Education:
  • Attending School for computer science, technology or related field (eligible for mandatory internship)
Essential:
  • Knowledge of web based development (HTML, JS, XML, XSLT, XSD)
  • Knowledge of windows and/or Linux infrastructure
  • Knowledge of software development or testing
  • Written and oral fluency in both English and German is mandatory, all other languages are a plus
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of MS Hyper-V Virtualization
  • Knowledge of MS SQL Server or Oracle databases
  • Experience with web server environments (Tomcat, IIS)
