RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Deployment Engineer at Pimcore you will …

• Design, develop, and maintain GitHub workflows to automate the software deployment process
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of deployment strategies into the software development lifecycle
• Monitor and maintain the stability, security, and performance of the deployed applications
• Coordinate and communicate with cross-functional teams, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned on deployment timelines and deliverables
• Develop and implement best practices for deployment management, including the creation of relevant documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment-related issues on time
• Continuously evaluate and optimize deployment processes to maximize efficiency, reliability, and quality

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software deployment and release management
• Deep knowledge of GitHub workflows, including writing custom actions and using third-party actions
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
• Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Strong understanding of version control systems, specifically Git
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities

For this position we offer a starting salary of EUR 70,000 gross/year with the potential to earn more, depending on your qualifications and experience.
