We are looking for a Legal Operations Specialist to join SEON; legal and compliance team to help us create a fraud-free world by developing legal processes, supporting our customers and internal operations, for new and innovative products and services.
As a Legal Operations Specialist you will work as part of the Legal and Compliance team whilst working collaboratively with other teams across SEON such as Sales, Product Management, HR, Marketing and external legal ecosystem.

You will have experience in evaluating internal operational and procedural; compliance as well as developing and executing new compliance policies and procedures as required.This is an exciting opportunity to join a mission led start-up, were you are encouraged to grow and develop your skills while making an impact in the cyber security space.
What you'll do:
- Support the legal team in drafting and negotiating various contracts as well as modifying existing contracts according to our guidelines.
- Systematize already signed documents and manage the contract database.
- Review agreements, focusing on privacy and IT security requirements, balancing business interests with clients' needs.
- Assisting in applications for compliance certification and regulatory approval (E.g. e-gaming permits)
- Participate proactively in legal research, anticipating and identifying legal and regulatory risks.
- Remain up-to-date on relevant industry, consumer protection, advertising, IP, and privacy laws and regulations, including fraud prevention and money laundering
- Researching and monitoring SaaS/Software industry compliance requirements (relevant regulations, standards, frameworks).
What you bring:
- Studying law, or holding a JD or paralegal degree,
- Solid knowledge of MS office, especially Word,
- Be able to communicate in English fluently,
- Attention to detail, experience of working with internal and external stakeholders,
- Advantage to currently be working in a start-up SaaS environment.
